The Yuckies are fantastic, and I know the word “fantastic” isn’t quite a word widely used to describe a punk band, but I can’t seem to find another word that fits them. They have such a great sound that I can’t bare to have their latest album “Dirty Bird” leave my cd player. As one of the local all-girl punk bands slowly make the transition to basic Rock and Roll, it’s refreshing to hear such a raw and exciting punk sound come from some of most creative girls I have personally met in a long time. I met up with The Yuckies at Norms in Superior and talked to them about Craiglist, Alaska, the Mpls Scene, and more!
